Résumé : Current pH sensing technologies have severe limitations if they are to be used in conjunction with developing nanotechnologies for biological applications. Current limitations include the need for a reference electrode necessary in pH determination, the cumbersome size which makes it biologically unfeasible as well as the necessarily invasive nature of such devices. Designing a nanoprobe to measure the pH as well as making use of a sensitive and non-destructive Raman spectroscopy to get the pH information for biological samples is very important to clinical diagnostics and drug delivery. Herein, we investigated the carbon nanotubes Raman nanoprobe in circuit-free conditions and show that the carbon nanotube can respond to the ionic and proton activity.
