Résumé :

Palladium-mediated cross-coupling reactions have found extensive use in the synthesis of biaryls and aryl-substituted heteroaromatics. Although powerful, the classical palladium-catalyzed cross-coupling reactions can suffer from common limitations such as extensive reaction times, environmentally unfriendly by-products or reagents, and can be atom inefficient. This has generated much attention in the past decades to further improve upon, or expand this type of reactivity, leading to new alternatives that address or improve on some of these factors. Extending upon the decarboxylative and desulfinative cross-coupling protocols recently developed, this talk will demonstrate progress on the use of these couplings towards the synthesis of biologically interesting molecules, materials and biomass-derived platform chemicals.
